Fiero Wood Artistry had the privilege of restoring and enhancing a character-grade white oak floor in a beautiful home on Monceaux Road, West Palm Beach, Florida. The project aimed to highlight the natural charm of the wood while achieving a modern, sophisticated look with a light grey finish.
The process began with sanding the existing floors to remove imperfections and prepare the surface. A light grey oil-based stain was then applied to accentuate the wood’s unique character, creating a soft, refined aesthetic. To ensure the longevity of the finish and prevent yellowing, we sealed the floor with a high-quality water-based polyurethane, preserving the crisp, fresh tone of the grey stain. The result was a seamless blend of rustic charm and contemporary elegance, brightening the space and offering a durable, long-lasting finish that maintained the light grey tones.
